At times, you will need to hunt down specific types of enemies in Destiny 2. This can be for a quest, bounties, or limited time events that occur in the game. The Season of the Worthy has introduced Rasputin Bounties, one of which is to find and kill a Taken Boss. Sometimes the game is a little picky about what it considers to be a boss, so in this guide, we will show you a guaranteed boss that will work, and that you can get to quickly.
The Shattered Throne
If you can survive it, the Shattered Throne is a great place to find a Taken Boss to kill. Load into the Shattered Throne from the Dreaming City in your Director, then run to the first group of enemies.
There will be a named enemy and a lot of Acolytes. Take out the Acolytes, as they will spawn Acolytes Eyes that cause big problems, then focus on the boss. Hit him with whatever weapon you fancy, but we would recommend something that can do considerable damage, as he has quite the health bar.
If you are low level, stay back a bit and use the steps to cut down on your angle of exposure to the boss. Use weapons like Sniper Rifles and Grenades launchers to make quick work of him.
When the big guy goes down, the bounty is complete. If you also have a bounty that needs you to kill Powerful Taken, be sure to venture further into the Shattered Throne, as the next few rooms will be packed with them and you can wrap it up very quickly.
