Paw Paw Paw is a fun side-scrolling beat-em-up game set in the woods, with sword-n-shield based combat and lots of unlockables. The game follows a maverick group of woodland animals who have rebelled against a corrupt(ed) king, and refused to be forced to wear trousers. Experience the joys of 2D characters walking about in a world with X, Y and Z coordinates and use different weapon types for tactically different gameplay.
What we like:
- Lots of unlockables
- Rideable creatures and other characters to play
- XP maintained when you die so no need to start from scratch
- Different weapon types for each character mixes up tactics
- Super cute visuals with violent combat
- Clumsy trying to align with equally flat enemies
- Getting the first few combos unlocked is a lengthy process
- Hitboxes are very inconsistent
- Balance is all over the place
