Namco hints at Tales of Vesperia 2

Namco Bandai has revealed that there is serious consideration for making a sequel to Tales of Vesperia, a well-received JRPG that appeared on Xbox 360 (and will soon be on PS3).

Publisher general manager Makoto Yoshizumi said even staff had asked after a follow-up instalment, to which he replied: "Don't talk like a fan!"

"It appears that [within the company] there's a desire to make part 2," he then admitted, according to andriasang (via VG247).

Yoshizumi was speaking at a Q&A session after the theatrical release of Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike in Japan. He hinted that a film sequel wasn't out of the question, either.

Add an enhanced PS3 port of Tales of Vesperia to those plans (European date TBC), and Namco Bandai clearly has big plans for the IP.
