There is a whole world of end game content in Lost Ark, and the Tower is yet another thing to look forward to after the levelling process. Here’s our Lost Ark Shadespire Tower Guide with all the information you need to know about it.
What is the Shadespire Tower?
The Tower is an instanced zone that must be completed alone. This zone consists of 50 floors of increasing difficulty. There are Bosses, Elites, Monsters, and Survival Rooms all with their own challenges to overcome. Each floor has a recommended item level requirement and a time limit in order to get the reward for completion.
How to Unlock the Shadespire Tower
Once a player has levelled their character up to Combat Level 50, they will need to reach an item level of 302. This can be accomplished by completing the first Chaos Dungeon or by completing the Main Questline in Shushire.
From there, players need to access you Quest Journal (J) and accept the quest in the Guide Quests Tab. The first one given is the Guide Quest: Gear Honing Guide. Complete that and another quest will appear; Guide Quest: Public Announcement Tower.
Once all these conditions are met, a Player can enter the first floor of the Tower.
Where is the Tower?
The tower can be accessed from any major city; look for this icon on the map. It will be grey if you haven’t complete the necessary Guide Quest.
What’s Inside the Tower
At the beginning of each Floor there will be a starting zone where players will have the opportunity to select or swap Battle Items from the inventory to the Skill Bar and Change their skills. Once inside a Floor of the tower you won’t be able to change skills so make sure you have the right skills chosen. This content is generally not that difficult but there may be some rather unique and challenging boss battles. If you aren’t able to complete those try changing your skills for a build more suitable for Guardian Raids or Abyss Dungeons.
There will be a portal at the top of the screen of every floor that players can choose the floor they want to complete. Players cannot skip past floors that have not been completed. Every 5 Floors the required item Level is increased. Starting at floor 1 requires Item Lv. 302 all the way up to Floor 50 requiring Item Lv. 540. Players can attempt to complete the floor they are on as many times as they need. Once finished with the current floor of the Tower, click the button in the top left of the screen to claim rewards
Shadespire Tower Rewards
Only a players first character on a server that completes the Tower will receive rewards that are account wide. Subsequent characters that the player completes the Tower with afterwards will be given upgrade materials. These upgrade materials are bound to the characters that complete the Tower.
Because of this, many players choose to do the Tower on their second Level 50 character first and allow their first main character to be given the bound upgrade materials. It really isn’t a major factor in the long run for most players, just something you can consider if you want to maximize the growth of your main character.
