Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Collection Chests are collectibles you need to find if you aim for 100% completion in the only all-wizarding village in Britain. The Hogsmeade Chests will reward you with conjuration recipes with which you can make the Room of Requirement even cooler.
There are 5 Collection Chests in Hogsmeade, and to reach most of them, you’ll need the upgraded version of Alohomora learned during The Man Behind The Moons side quest. One of the collectibles is also locked behind a relationship quest.
Where To Find the Five Hogsmeade Collection Chests in Hogwarts Legacy
To start, check the following Hogsmeade map. On it, we’ve marked the locations of the five Collection Chests in the village. Now, let’s see how to unlock the chests.
Collection Chest #1: Next to a Piano
For the first Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Chest, you must go to the Three Broomsticks, the big inn in the middle of the village. Once you’ve entered the inn using the main door on the southwestern part of the building, head up the stairs left and keep climbing until you reach the last floor. Then, go through the door atop the stairs to find the collectible next to a piano.
Collection Chest #2: Next to a Piano
The next Collection Chest is in the house east of the South Hogsmeade Floo Flame, at the second location pinpointed on the map above. Head inside the house by picking a level 3 lock with Alohomora, and you’ll find the collectible under a window next to a broom stand.
Collection Chest #3: Next to a Bed
The third Hogwarts Legacy Collection Chest in Hogsmeade is relatively close to the South Hogsmeade Floo Flame. Walk a couple of meters east of the Floo Flame and head south when the road allows it. Then, enter the first house on the right side by picking another level 3 lock and go upstairs to find the collectible next to the bed.
Collection Chest #4: Between a Bed and a Closet
Another Chest is found in a small house in the northeastern part of the village, at the fourth location marked on our map. Get inside the house by picking another level 3 lock, then look for the collectible between the bed and the closet.
Collection Chest #5: Next to a Bunch of Barrels
For the last Chest in Hogsmeade, you must venture into the Ashwinder Hideout dungeon on the village’s western side. You’ll find the collectible next to a bunch of barrels in the said dungeon, and for more details, you should refer to our Ashwinder Hideout Collection Chest guide here.
