You can glamour the PvP armour into your PvE set.
Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn update 2.25 will add PvP equipment according to a magazine scan posted to Reddit.
Based on the image, the update will feature:
- Lion : Paladin
- Bear : Warrior
- Hawk : Monk
- Snake : Dragon
- Swan : White mage
- Beige Deer: Summoner
- Red Deer : Scholar
- Fox: Black mage
- Black (crow?) : Bard
It also seems that based on the names:
- PLD : Lion's Mane
- WAR: Bear's Maw? (Not clear)
- MNK: Hawk Wing
- DRG: Snake Tongue?
- WHM: Swan Grace
- BRD: Bird Song
- BLM: Cut off, but this looks like Wolves' Eye from the blurb
- SMN: Elk Horn
- SCH: Elk Tail
