UPDATE: EA has contacted Eurogamer to say the UK release date for Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC is 1st November 2013.
"Battlefield 4 will also be available for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4," a spokesperson said, suggesting the next-gen versions may release after the current-gen versions.
ORIGINAL STORY: Battlefield 4 launches on 29th October 2013, EA has announced.
That's for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and the just-announced Xbox One.
As previously confirmed by developer DICE, and subsequently by publisher EA, the game will not release on Wii U.
Meanwhile, EA announced that those who pre-order the game will receive the Battlefield 4 China Rising Digital Expansion Pack at no extra cost. In the expansion you fight on the Chinese mainland in four multiplayer maps with new vehicles and equipment.
Pre-order the BF4 Digital Deluxe version on Origin and you'll get the base game, bonus in-game digital items, the BF4 China Rising expansion and access to the BF4 multiplayer beta.
